Vlatko Andonovski has resigned as manager of the U.S. women’s national team after a disappointing and unprecedented round-of-16 exit at the Women’s World Cup. U.S. Soccer named assistant coach Twila Kilgore as the interim head coach for the team’s fall friendlies but will be eager to appoint a permanent replacement as the Paris Olympics are just one year away.

The Golf Channel commentator does not think Koepka would be a good fit for the American team at next month’s Ryder Cup.
Brandel Chamblee fired shots toward Brooks Koepka Thursday during Golf Central’s pregame show.
“I think [Koepka] is bad for the [Ryder Cup] team,” the Golf Channel analyst said.
The Indianapolis Colts drafted quarterback Anthony Richardson with the #4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The move surprised many around the NFL. But the team clearly wanted Richardson to be the face of its franchise.
They wasted little time in naming him the starter for the first game of the season. Richardson’s regular season NFL debut is set to take place on Sunday, September 10 at home against the reigning AFC South champions, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Richardson, by all accounts, plays the part of franchise quarterback perfectly. At least off the field.

According to ESPN, the letter is signed by former Northwestern athletes from every varsity sport on campus, including 277 football players and four football managers.
ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt didn’t hold back and eventually unloaded on Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden for once again demanding a trade.
Harden spent about a season and a half with the 76ers and already wants out.
Van Pelt wasn’t impressed and ripped into Harden for putting his team in a bind, something he has done more than once during his NBA career.

Nobody has the balls that Dick Bigger does.
Dick Bigger Jr. is a proud patriot. The kind of man who loves nothing more than participating in local politics by presenting his baseballs to politicians so they can autograph them. Laugh all you want, but Dick Bigger has the balls to get this done.
