Should the Giants have gotten another pass interference call on the final play vs. the Bills?
The New York Giants had one more chance to pull off a massive upset against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football when the offense marched onto the field with about 90 seconds left in regulation. The Bills had just missed a 53-yard field, giving Giants backup QB Tyrod Taylor great field position to stake a potential game-winning drive.

The Patriots are 1-5 and there are no easy answers, just harder and harder questions
Ahead of Super Bowl XLIX, legendary writer Charles Pierce published a lengthy look at Tom Brady for The New York Times Magazine. Pierce shared insights gained into the quarterback dating back to that prior offseason, including a quote from Brady’s father, Tom Brady Sr., that spoke to the fears in the minds of many Patriots fans at that point in the QB’s career.
“It will end badly,” the elder Brady said. “It does end badly.
So who’s the NFL’s best team today? It’s a question that no longer demands a quick answer because the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles were knocked from the ranks of the undefeated on Sunday and now there are none remaining.
Just as the NFL likes.
And the 1972 Dolphins love.

NFL Loves Traffic Jam Of Good Teams
So instead of a couple of undefeated elite teams, the NFL has a handful of one-loss teams that are pretty darn good.
Here’s a look at some of the fantasy players who had the best and worst performances of the weekend. These players are already on fantasy rosters in most leagues, so take this information into potential trade talks as you try to sell high or buy low.

Travis Etienne, RB, Jaguars

Etienne has been one of the hottest backs in fantasy football, and he showed it against the Colts. The talented runner rushed for a pair of touchdowns and put up 23.2 points, and he’s now scored a combined 59.
The Bills were able to hold on at home on Sunday and beat the Giants, 14-9, in an ugly game that wasn’t decided until the final play with no time left on the clock.
Fans watching, however, thought there should have been one more play because it sure looked like Buffalo cornerback Taron Johnson got away with what looked like an obvious holding call that prevented Giants tight end Darren Waller from catching a possible game-winning TD pass from Tyrod Taylor.
NBC rules official Terry McAulay tried his best to explain why a call wasn’t made but his best wasn’t very good at all.
New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh was feeling himself after his team’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and rightfully so given that most had already written off this Jets team. Not only did he compliment his team’s effort after the 20-14 victory, he took a shot at the quarterbacks the Jets have picked apart this season.
With the Jets holding Jalen Hurts to 280 yards passing and picking him off three times in the win on Sunday, Saleh took time to reflect on how New York’s defense has “embarrassed” every quarterback it has squared off against this season.
The Chicago Bears lost quarterback Justin Fields on Sunday, headlining one of the major QB injuries from Week 6.

According to OutKick’s Armando Salguero, Fields is dealing with a dislocated thumb on his throwing hand. The injury expectedly sidelines him for ‘multiple weeks.
Dan Campbell was in prime form after the Lions beat the Buccaneers.
The Lions are now 5-1 after earning a hard-fought 20-6 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and that means one thing:
A Dan Campbell victory speech.
Campbell has been a consistent content machine since the Detroit Lions hired him as head coach, and one of his most popular moves is to fire up the roster with some locker room hype. The man could get your grandma ready to run through a wall.

The Red Bull driver’s battle to stay in second, and with his team, tops storylines for the United States Grand Prix
Sergio Pérez is fighting for his Formula 1 future.
The second seat at Red Bull has often been described as the “second seat of death,” and Pérez is currently enduring that reality. While he sits in second place in the Drivers’ standings, inconsistent performances and missed opportunities have put his status for the team beyond 2024 into severe doubt.
