The Giants were looking to get into the end zone and pad their 6–0 lead just before halftime against the Bills on Sunday night, but a highly questionable play call resulted in the clock expiring with the ball on the one-yard line.
With no timeouts left, quarterback Tyrod Taylor bizarrely handed the ball to Saquon Barkley on first and goal with just 14 seconds left on the game clock on what appeared to be an option play.
Head coach Brian Daboll appeared both irate and confused on the sideline, which suggests the handoff to Barkley was not the play he was anticipating.

Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone surely enjoyed Detroit’s 20–6 victory over the Buccaneers in Week 6. But the seven-year pro had much more to be happy about than winning a football game on Sunday. He got to share the moment with his parents, whose safety he was worried about throughout the week.
Anzalone’s parents were in Israel last week as part of a church tour group when attacks by terrorist group Hamas ignited war in the region. Sal and Judy Anzalone were among the 53 Americans trapped after the conflict erupted.

Kim did something not even Tiger Woods did, as he became the youngest player since 1912 to defend a title as he won the Shriners Children’s Open.
Tom Kim has successfully defended his Shriners Children’s Open title Sunday. He is now a three-time PGA Tour winner and is the youngest to accomplish that feat (21 years, 3 months and 4 days) since the legendary Tiger Woods did so.
Woods was slightly younger at 21 years and 13 days old.
But unlike Woods, Kim was able to win the same tournament twice going back to back at such a young age.

Keep Detroit Lions wideout Jameson Williams on your radar; if he’s not on the already.
Williams had one hell of a touchdown on Sunday against the Buccaneers. The 2022 first-rounder isn’t much of a household name in the NFL due to injury and a run-in with the NFL’s suspension list.
In his second game this season, Williams re-introduced himself as the explosive WR from Alabama. He nabbed a catch worthy of its top spot in Week 6’s best catches.
In the third quarter, Williams scored on a wildly acrobatic 45-yard TD.
