No. 4 Ohio State is fresh off a thrilling 17–14 victory over Notre Dame in South Bend, and the Buckeyes head into a bye weekend with a ton of momentum heading into the crux of the Big Ten schedule.
Given that the Buckeyes don’t play this weekend, coach Ryan Day had some time to speak with a group of supporters at an event this week.
At that event, Day was asked about the “most romantic thing he’s done for his wife.”
Day, clearly a true football coach through and through, had a great response.

We’ve now reached Week 5 of the 2023 college football schedule.
My goodness it flies by.
But this also means we are deep into the heart of conference schedules, which makes for some fascinating games to track this weekend. While the Week 5 slate does not offer as many games between ranked opponents as we saw a week ago, there are a number of games you need to have on your radar.
Including a matchup that helps kick off the weekend on Friday night.

The Marlins are in the midst of a hotly contested playoff race in the final week of the MLB regular season, and tensions are running hot as well.
Trailing the Mets 1–0 entering the ninth inning on Thursday night, the Marlins rallied thanks to consecutive run-scoring hits from stars Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Yuli Gurriel to take a 2–1 lead at Citi Field in New York. However, weather has been an issue all week in the Northeast, and Thursday evening was no different.
It’s Week 4 and things are finally starting to settle a bit. I’m finding more and more player props I like as we see patterns emerging. Packers coach Matt LaFleur was understandably upset following Thursday night’s 34–20 loss to the Lions. Even at halftime, with the Lions leading 27–3, he was cranky, calling his team’s performance “humbling” and “embarrassing.”
