The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were en route to the first monumental victory of the Marcus Freeman era, leading the Ohio State Buckeyes 14-10 with less than five seconds left. The victory wouldn’t be, however, as Buckeye RB Chip Trayanum scored as the clock hit zero to give the Buckeyes the victory.
However, we have to go to the film of the snap to really understand how Notre Dame bottled the end of that game, because for the last TWO PLAYS of the game, the Fighting Irish lined up with only 10 players on the field.
Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has been placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol following Sunday night’s 23–18 loss to the Steelers, Las Vegas coach Josh McDaniels said Monday.
Even though Garoppolo played the entire game against Pittsburgh, he missed his postgame media availability while he was undergoing medical evaluation. The 31-year-old must be fully cleared before he can return to action. The Raiders’ next game is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET at the Chargers.
It’s unknown at this time whether a specific play caused the injury to Garoppolo.

The ascension of QB Trevor Lawrence, combined with another year under head coach Doug Pederson and the acquisition of WR Calvin Ridley gave optimism and hope to fans and national media alike that the Jags could take another step in their ascension as a Super Bowl contender this year.
Through three games, Jacksonville looks like anything but that.
