The Saints will be without safety Marcus Maye for the team’s next three games, the league announced on Wednesday. According to an official statement from the league, Maye has been suspended for three games without pay for violating the NFL Policy on Substances of Abuse.

The death of a Patriots fan involved in a fight during Week 2’s game at Gillette Stadium on Sunday may not have been caused by a “traumatic injury” but rather an unspecified “medical issue.” That information was revealed in an autopsy, according to a statement from the Norfolk County district attorney’s office Wednesday.
Dale Mooney, 53, collapsed after a brawl with rival fans during Sunday night’s Dolphins-Patriots game. Witnesses, including a spectator who recorded video of the fight, said Mooney was punched at least twice in the head.

Ahead of the Ryder Cup, McIlroy announced he has decided to tee it up at the DP World Tour Championship in November.
Rory McIlroy has confirmed that he will play in the DP World Tour Championship later this year in November at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai. The event is slated for Nov. 16-19.
“Playing at the DP World Tour Championship is always an amazing experience. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to enjoy a lot of success in Dubai and at this event in particular,” McIlroy said, per DP World Tour site.

On the heels of a loss that dropped them into last place in the NFC South, the Panthers are now dealing with an ailment at the quarterback position.
Carolina quarterback Bryce Young missed practice Wednesday with an ankle injury, the Panthers announced that same day later in the afternoon.
In addition to updating Young’s status, Carolina indicated that it signed quarterback Jake Luton to its practice squad.
Young completed 22 of his 33 pass attempts for 153 yards and a touchdown Monday evening as the Panthers lost 20-17 to the Saints.

Thanks to the great new documentary ‘Kelce’ on Amazon Prime, we were able to get a real behind-the-scenes look at what their seasons were like and how special the Super Bowl was for their entire family. 
We also got to see a very sweet moment just a few hours after the game when Jason Kelce went back to his hotel room and hung out with his wife and two young daughters. 
This interaction with his oldest daughter, Wyatt, was too good.
