During the NFL’s opening game between the Chiefs and Lions, Kansas City offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor went viral for his questionable technique. The veteran appeared to be lined up in an illegal formation or moving before the ball was hiked several times during the game, but the refs only called one false start.
It was such a popular topic of conversation that even Cris Collinsworth joked about how egregious it appeared that Taylor was leaving his stance early. On Thursday, Taylor defended his technique, arguing that he isn’t doing anything illegal.

Colorado State coach Jay Norvell took a not-so-subtle shot at the Colorado coach ahead of their matchup this weekend and Sanders quickly went to his team to use it as motivation. 
“I’m minding my own business watching some film, trying to get ready, trying to get out here and be the best coach I can be and I look up and I read some bulljunk that they said about us,” Sanders told his players Thursday.

The debate over Colin Kaepernick and a potential return to the NFL has cooled off drastically since he hasn’t received many opportunities for a chance at a comeback.
