Milwaukee has already lost two MLB teams in its modern history, having watched the first Brewers move to St. Louis in 1902 and the Braves relocate to Atlanta in ’66.
Now, there exists a possibility it could happen again.
Milwaukee could explore relocation if it does not receive funding toward improving American Family Field, according to a report from Molly Beck of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The Brewers have called Wisconsin’s largest city home since moving from Seattle ahead of the 1970 season.

For years, fans have begged the NCAA to return the Heisman Trophy to Reggie Bush. And after the release of Netflix’s new Johnny Manziel documentary, the outcry is even louder.
In Untold: Johnny Football, the former Texas A&M phenom admits to taking thousands of dollars in exchange for autographs during his college career. That’s something that, at the time, the NCAA strictly prohibited.
Bush, of course, was infamously stripped of his Heisman in 2010 after an investigation revealed his family received gifts in violation of NCAA policies.
Craig Kimbrel is one of the best relievers in MLB history, but he is also known for his unique pitching mannerisms. Throughout his career, the veteran has looked into the catcher to get signs with his pitching hand extended out like a bird’s wing, before getting set on the mound.
The motion is so specific that many people, usually fans, have had fun mimicking it. On Friday night, though, a fellow MLB player decided to mimic Kimbrel on the mound.
Much has been made this NFL training camp of the status of Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, whose July 27 calf strain sent shock waves throughout the league.
It is becoming increasingly apparent, however, that Burrow will be back sooner rather than later.
Cincinnati’s quarterback is expected to be ready for the Bengals’ opener against the Browns on Sept. 10, according to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on SportsCenter.
“People I’ve talked to do believe that for Week 1, he’ll be ready to go,” Fowler said.
Before Dillon Brooks became the villain vs. LeBron James’s Lakers, the veteran forward had a moment with James’s former teammate, Kyrie Irving. After a March game between the Grizzlies and Mavericks, Irving appeared to turn down Brooks’s jersey during what an apparent jersey swap.
“I saw that after the game. I’ll probably get it next time. Probably next time. Not this time,” Irving said in March. “I was really onto the next thing, thought process-wise.”
At the time, it was unclear whether there was any beef between the two, but Irving clarified that on Saturday.
Alessia Russo go-ahead goal in the second half gave England a lead they held on to for the rest of the match.
After 14 years in London, Tottenham’s most recognizable face is moving on to a new adventure.

Tiger Woods was seen without a walking boot at a junior golf tournament last weekend, signaling a potential comeback in 2024 is possible.
Tiger Woods has battled injuries for the better part of a decade.
Add his life-threatening car accident in 2021 into the mix, and it is amazing that Woods can still walk, let alone play golf.
The Dolphins had a significant injury scare in practice this week, as wide receiver Jaylen Waddle went down with an injury to his midsection. However, it appears that the third-year wideout will be “fine” and avoided a much more serious injury.
After Miami’s preseason game vs. the Falcons on Friday, coach Mike McDaniel explained that Waddle’s offseason has been strong-enough where he can take some time to heal.
“He’s banked enough quality reps that I’m not really worried about his participation within the offense,” McDaniel said.
Former NFL cornerback and current Commanders broadcaster Fred Smoot was arrested in Virginia on Thursday over lack of payment for child support.
Smoot turned himself into the Loudon Center Adult Detention Center where he remained until Friday. He was not part of his typical Commanders postgame coverage last night after their 17-15 victory over the Browns. Former Commanders tight end Doc Walker filled in for him.
