A few members of the Cowboys managed to get some unique team bonding in before Saturday’s preseason tilt against the Seahawks.
Brandin Cooks, who is a licensed pilot, took his new Dallas teammates Stephon Gilmore and Micah Parsons on a flight over Seattle in a small plane ahead of their preseason game. 
Footage posted to social media shows the trio of Cowboys players in the plane with a magnificent view of the city and Lumen Field.

Gunnar Henderson of the Baltimore Orioles passes up joining an elite club
Gunnar Henderson came to the plate in the top of the eighth inning for the Baltimore Orioles with a chance to make history.
He did perhaps the funniest thing possible instead.
The Orioles designated hitter strode to the plate with the Orioles blowing out the Oakland A’s 10-1, and having already homered, tripled, and doubled on the afternoon. Henderson needed just a single to hit for the cycle.

Miguel Cabrera took advantage of the perfect opportunity to troll José Ramírez on Sunday as the Tigers star made a hilarious callback to the Guardians third baseman’s now-infamous scuffle with White Sox veteran Tim Anderson.
With the 12-time All-Star set to retire at the end of the season, Cabrera has spent the year accepting different mementos from opposing teams on the Tigers’ various stops. The celebratory honors continued in Cleveland, with the Guardians gifting Cabrera a commemorative guitar prior to his last game at Progressive Field.

Last month, Carlos Alcaraz upset Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final to capture his second Grand Slam title. The 20-year-old Alcaraz is a rising young star in the sport of tennis and the current No. 1 player in the World in ATP rankings.
In the final tune-up prior to the US Open, many of the best players in tennis headed to Cincinnati for the 2023 Western & Southern Open (also known as the Cincinnati Open or Cincinnati Masters).
The two players that made their way to the final were, of course, Alcaraz and Djokovic.

The Yankees suffered their eight consecutive loss on Sunday, falling to the rival Red Sox to cement the franchise’s worst losing streak since 1995. 
After the game, which capped off a series sweep for Boston, New York manager Aaron Boone made a brutally honest admission on the state of this year’s AL East rivalry matchup.
Speaking to reporters, Boone admitted the Red Sox have had the upper hand on the Yankees and didn’t mince his words.
“They’ve kicked our ass,” said Boone, via Brendan Kuty.

The New York Jets traded for future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers this offseason. Many questioned if it was worth it since Rodgers career might be nearing its end. Plus, the Jets drafted Zach Wilson No. 2 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft.
But all along, Rodgers has stated his desire is to play more than one year in New York. Which made it unclear what the Jets plans are for Wilson. The team stated that it did not want to trade him and didn’t. For now, he’s going to backup Aaron Rodgers this season.
And if Rodgers gets his way, it’ll stay that way for several seasons.

All-time great hitters like Willie Mays and Pete Rose never accomplished the feat. On the other hand, Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill hit for the cycle twice in 2012 alone. It’s hit or miss, dependent on a player exploding on one particular day.
Orioles designated hitter Gunnar Henderson had almost all the ingredients for a cycle against the Athletics Sunday, doubling, tripling and homering as Baltimore dominated Oakland.

Nick Dunlap made history only Tiger Woods could have claimed as the Alabama sophomore won the U.S. Amateur on Sunday.
Alabama Crimson Tide golfer Nick Dunlap made history on Sunday at the U.S. Amateur at Cherry Hills Country Club in Colorado. Dunlap became the second player ever alongside Tiger Woods to win the U.S. Junior Am and the U.S. Amateur, per the USGA. He won the U.S. Junior Am in 2021.
He beat Ohio State’s Neal Shipley 4 and 3 in 33 holes.
The sophomore became the first Alabama player since Michael Thompson to reach the finals.
