The TV ratings for the 2023 Ryder Cup in the United States were never going to be great given the time difference with Italy. Asking State-side golf fans to wake up just past midnight to catch the morning action was a tall order, but when you compare this year’s initial numbers to the ratings for the 2018 Ryder Cup hosted in Paris, they’re significantly worse.
According to Josh Carpenter of Sports Business Journal, the 2018 Ryder Cup ratings dominated the 2023 edition each of the three days.
The 2018 broadcast drew 886,000 viewers on Friday, 2.116 million on Saturday, and 2.

Brian Daboll is out of answers for the New York Giants
The New York Giants are a mess.
After another disheartening loss on primetime TV, the Giants are 1-3, but it sure feels like this team hasn’t won a game yet. They needed a furious comeback to defeat the Arizona Cardinals on the road, but outside of that, they’ve been outclassed by every opponent they’ve faced this season.
Badly.

This is just pathetic.
Bryce Young sat dejected in the Panthers locker room on Sunday afternoon waiting to address the media. His teammates had begun cycling out of the facility and heading home, but the 22-year-old understood his role as the lightning rod for criticism, readying himself to stand at the podium and take his lumps.
It was Young’s third start of his NFL career, his third straight loss, and another game decided by a single score which should have been a win if the Panthers offense was able to do … anything. That’s not hyperbole.
