Major championships are where legends are made in the sport of golf. Every player and fan alike knows and understands this. The sport has grown accustomed to seeing the best players in the world battling it out each year at the four majors.

Looking at winners and losers from the F1 Sprint Race at the Qatar Grand Prix
The Formula 1 Sprint race at the Qatar Grand Prix is in the books.
And it has given us a first-time winner, and a three-time champion.
Oscar Piastri took home his first F1 win, remaining patient after George Russell got by him on a set of soft tyres early in the race. Piastri and his team trusted that the medium compound was going to be better in the end, and it was as he took home victory.
Just behind him? Max Verstappen.

Guns N’ Roses, the popular Los-Angeles based rock band, announced Friday that it would change venues for its Oct. 11 concert date to allow the Diamondbacks to host the Dodgers in Game 3 of the National League Division Series.
Initially, the rock band was expected to perform at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix. Now, the band will perform its show at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre. 
The Diamondbacks swept the Brewers in the NL wild card series, registering their first multi-game playoff series victory since 2007.

While officials often gain air time for penalties either called or missed, in the Army–Boston College tilt the umpire found himself in the middle of the action.
In the second quarter, Eagles’ quarterback Thomas Castellanos headed up field on a designed rush on a second-and-9 play from near mid-field.

College football fanatics tuned in Saturday for the latest edition of the iconic Red River Rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma on ABC.
Unfortunately, actually watching the game proved to be a bit more challenging. 
Throughout the first quarter of the rivalry tilt, ABC—the network broadcasting the game in conjunction with ESPN—experienced several disruptions. Both the video feed and the audio from the announcing crew of Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit fizzled at times, often at critical moments early in the contest.

Max Verstappen is on the cusp of his third-straight Formula 1 Drivers’ title, with a chance to put both hands on the trophy with a solid finish in Saturday’s F1 Sprint race at the Qatar Grand Prix.
But he will not be starting that race up front.
Verstappen needs just three points over the final six races of the year to clinch his third-straight F1 Drivers’ Championship, and can accomplish that with a sixth-place finish — or better — in the F1 Sprint race Saturday.

After months of negotiations and bad blood, running back Jonathan Taylor and the Colts finally reached an agreement on a long-term extension. Indianapolis is expected to sign the fourth-year veteran to a three-year, $42 million deal that begins next season.
The agreement came after it seemed the relationship between Taylor and the Colts was beyond repair, as Taylor at one point requested a trade, but instead they found common ground ahead of Taylor’s expected season debut on Sunday.
