Sergei Bobrovsky is the soul-destroying centerpiece of the Panthers run to the Cup.
Sergei Bobrovsky hasn’t simply been a goalie, a shot-blocker, or a last-line of defense. He’s become an all-encompassing black hole that swallows all light and hope, swatting away dreams with his pads or causing them to vanish in an instant, engulfed by the mystic qualities of his glove.
For all the pomp and circumstance when Matthew Tkachuk joined the Panthers, it’s Bob who has the Florida Panthers on the verge of the Stanley Cup Finals.

After 76ers star Joel Embiid won league MVP, denying Nikola Jokić his third-consecutive award, the Nuggets star believed that voters made the right decision.
“I don’t think about MVPs anymore,” Jokić said on Monday night. “I mean, I think it’s—people are just mean in saying Embiid shouldn’t have won it. I think he should have won it. Brooks Koepka won his fifth major championship Sunday with a very impressive final round at Oak Hill.
The victory meant even more to him since he was able to battle back from injuries over the past few years and get back on top of the golf world with a dominant weekend at the PGA Championship.
Koepka rightfully has been celebrating a lot since that win and on Monday night, he brought that party to the Panthers’ playoff game in South Florida where he was seen cheering on his favorite team in their 1–0 win over the Hurricanes.
Austin Ekeler is going to be back in Los Angeles, as the Chargers have added $2 million in incentives to his current deal that ends at the end of the 2023 season. It’s a good compromise between the two sides, and it keeps fantasy’s best back at home. At one point, Ekeler requested a trade and felt disrespected by the organization.
“I kinda got punched in the face when the Chargers basically said hey we don’t want to talk about extensions anymore,” Ekeler told me and Amber Theoharis on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio’s Fantasy Dirt earlier this offseason.
