Angels designated hitter and pitcher Shohei Ohtani has definitely demonstrated an ability to elicit f-bombs from fans—out of wonder, delight or disgust for your favorite team’s demise.
However, getting an f-bomb out of an opponent is something else altogether.
In the fifth inning of Los Angeles’s 7–4 loss to the Rockies Friday evening in Denver, Ohtani launched a 434-foot home run to right center off of a pitch well inside to stake the Angels to a 3–2 lead.

Zhang, who is playing in her first major championship as a professional, is making quite an impact at Baltusrol.
Rose Zhang is playing well at her first major championship as a professional.
Perhaps no shot of hers was better than her second at the 498-yard par-5 18th.

Here’s how NBA experts believe the Warriors fared in the Jordan Poole-for-Chris Paul trade with the Washington Wizards.
Deion Sanders underwent successful surgery for a blood clot in each of his legs, his girlfriend Tracey Edmonds announced on Instagram.
“We are so grateful for the healing power of God and for all of our prayer Warriors,” she wrote. “It was a long, but successful day! Deion Sanders is resting and doing great tonight after his surgery! Thank you Lord! Thank you Fam! We love you!”
Edmonds also posted a picture with Sanders that shows the NFL Hall of Famer smiling with two thumbs up from his hospital bed.
The Colorado coach needed the surgery to help with circulation in both of his legs.
With the 2023 NBA draft in the history books, experts are already beginning to turn their attention to the 2024 event.
Next year’s draft class may or may not include USC guard Bronny James, the son of Lakers forward LeBron James. That has not, however, stopped speculation as to where James will be drafted should he take the one-and-done route with the Trojans.
ESPN draft guru Jonathan Givony, appearing on SportsCenter Saturday morning, suggested James would be drafted 17th next summer.
“Bronny James is the No. 17 projected player in our draft class tomorrow,” Givony said.
Deion Sanders, like everything else in life, crushed his latest health scare to dust.
Prime’s girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, posted early Saturday morning that Sanders was out of surgery, recovering and “doing great.” The NFL Hall of Famer and current Colorado coach underwent emergency surgery Friday for a blood clot in his leg.
“We are so grateful for the healing power of God and for all of our prayer warriors!” Edmonds said in an Instagram post.

Bradley, who failed to qualify for last week’s U.S. Open, has relied on his putter to soar to the top of the leaderboard in Connecticut.
Keegan Bradley has given his putter a lot of respect this week at the Travelers Championship.
And rightfully so.
The flat stick is why Bradley entered Saturday’s third round as the 36-hole co-leader alongside Denny McCarthy.
