Michael Jordan will reportedly have the final say on the Hornets’ No. 2 overall draft pick despite agreeing to sell the team.
The Charlotte Hornets announced governor Michael Jordan would be selling his majority ownership stake in the team to a group led by Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall last week.
Despite the sale, Jordan will apparently be making the Hornets pick at No. 2 overall when the team comes on the clock in the 2023 NBA Draft on Thursday night.

The Lions released new alternate helmets on Wednesday and the internet’s opinions were… mixed.
The new helmet, which is set to be worn with the team’s all-gray uniforms, is a light blue never been worn by an NFL team and features a throwback logo to honor the team’s past.
The team announced the helmets with a slick video posted to social, but that didn’t stop some fans from questioning the new look.
