Former Cardinals head coach Vince Tobin died Monday at his home in Goodyear, Ariz., at the age of 79, according to an announcement from the team.
Tobin, who coached the Cardinals from 1996-2000, helped the organization win its first playoff game in 51 years during the 1998 season.

Netflix is acquiring the new docuseries that centers around Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for $50 million, according to Puck News. The deal isn’t finalized, but Netflix has appeared to outbid ESPN in a bidding war for the new show.

The University of Florida will officially renovate the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in what is expected to cost around $400 million to be a “multigeneration solution,” The Associated Press reported on Monday.
Florida announced that the school is looking to hire an architect for the project, with the window of searching for one opening in July.
Athletic director Scott Stricklin said that it is “premature to speculate” on various details of the renovation, including how much it’ll cost, when it is expected to be completed and what the seating number will be.
