Max Homa launched his golf club in frustration during the final round of the RBC Heritage on Sunday, and it was a tough scene for the six-time PGA Tour winner for more reasons than one.
Homa, who began the final round 18 shots behind leader Matt Fitzpatrick, hit a wayward teeshot and was left in a very tough position in a waste area amongst the trees at Harbour Town. After not making the contact he wanted on a punch shot in an attempt to escape the trouble, Homa chucked his iron into the ground a few yards ahead of him, with the iron ultimately making contact with a tree.

The atmosphere beforehand made it feel like a big moment for Everton ahead of the first Merseyside derby at their new home.
There were fireworks in the sky and hope in the air that the Toffees could close to within two points of their neighbours Liverpool.
There was also a Tifo proclaiming them as “The Originals,” a jibe at their rivals, given they were founded first.

Lalit Modi has rejected former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen’s claim that The Hundred could become the UK’s version of the Indian Premier League in the next few years, saying no tournament can match the IPL.
Pietersen had written on X that The Hundred “won’t die in 3 years’ time, it’ll become a T20 competition within three years” and added that it could turn into the UK’s version of the IPL.
