For one night last week, Nashville’s NHL team became, as Clay Travis pointed out, the Gay Predators. Seriously.
The Nashville Gay Predators celebrated Pride Night on Thursday vs. Jack Hughes and his New Jersey Devils. The night included a singer-songwriter who describes his sound as “soul songs for indie queer kids.” This is a dude who pretends to be a woman on the band stage, and a gay country band that seems to openly mock Jesus Christ and Christians.

The New York Mets lineup looks to be one of the best in baseball to start the year, but the rotation could still use some help. Among the options the Mets could pursue, Lucas Giolito should be at the top of that list.
Giolito has the stuff to come in and be an above-average arm in New York, potentially even giving them playoff innings when needed.
In the vibrant world of Mexican wrestling, known as lucha libre, tradition and performance collide in dramatic fashion. Arman Tsarukyan has reignited his title ambitions with a bold claim after his latest wrestling fight.

Take the Illinois Fighting Illini, for example.
Brad Underwood has the Illini back in the Final Four for the first time in more than two decades, and fans in Champaign are ready to party like it’s 2005.
There’s also the Tennessee Vols, who have never been to the Final Four in the history of their program’s existence, and are one win away from busting through that ceiling.

In an exclusive interview with Justin Rogers of Detroit Football Network, the former 2016 No. 16 overall pick shared his perspective on how and why things fell apart so quickly with the Lions.
