The Tigers pulled off the upset of the tournament so far, dispatching the Pac-12 champion Wildcats.
Princeton scratched, clawed and withstood several Arizona runs to overtake the Wildcats in the final minutes of regulation and pull off a stunning first round upset, 59–55.
The Tigers were led by 15 points from senior forward Tosan Evbuomwan, and held Arizona to just 42% shooting from the floor and 18.8% shooting from three.
Arizona was paced offensively by forward Ąžuolas Tubelis, who scored a game-high 22 points in the loss.

Alabama defensive back Tony Mitchell was arrested in Florida on Wednesday. The former four-star recruit in the Class of 2023 is a freshman on the Crimson Tide football team who chose to enroll early for the spring semester.

Mitchell’s arrest was confirmed by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and/or deliver in Bonifay, Florida, on the panhandle.
The University of Alabama is currently on spring break.
