In perhaps the most tumultuous season in franchise history, the Nets are rewarding the one man in their organization who has provided stability.
Brooklyn is signing coach Jacque Vaughn to a multi-year extension, as first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Details of the deal were not made public.
Vaughn, 48, is 97–108 lifetime as an NBA head coach, a record that includes three seasons with the Magic from 2013 to ’15. He is 61–39 across parts of two seasons—2020 and ’23—with the Nets.
