Just over two months after Shannon Sharpe’s departure from the popular FS1 debate show Undisputed, it appears that current host Skip Bayless finally has himself a new sparring partner.
FS1 is reportedly hiring former All-Pro cornerback and Super Bowl champion Richard Sherman as the show’s new co-host, according to the New York Post‘s Andrew Marchand. Sherman is expected to appear on 50 to 100 shows per year, mostly during football season.
The network is also reportedly interested in adding Keyshawn Johnson, who ESPN recently laid off.

ACC leaders are set to begin exploratory discussions on the potential additions of California and Stanford to the conference, sources told ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Monday, but the scheduled calls are in the embryonic stages at the point.

Amid all the realignment chaos, there’s one simple move that would benefit both the bottom line and the welfare of student-athletes who don’t play football.

NCAA president Charlie Baker issued a statement to Sports Illustrated on Monday emphasizing his concerns with the recent realignment moves within college athletics, asking for major-college leaders to work together in areas that “impact student-athlete well-being and competitive equity issues.”
“I share concerns about the impact that the recent spate of conference realignment activities will have on student-athletes’ well-being,” Baker said in the statement.

While some of it isn’t his fault—injuries and suspensions to the quarterback position—the NFL doesn’t want excuses. It wants results.
Entering 2023, Cleveland has a good roster.

The Orioles have had a 2023 to remember, leaving their 2017 to ’21 struggles in the dust en route to the American League’s best record. However, Baltimore has reportedly suspended one of its broadcasters for pointing out just how far the team has come during this charmed season.
According to a Monday afternoon report from Awful Announcing, Orioles play-by-play announcer Kevin Brown has been indefinitely removed from the team’s broadcasts for a comment made before Baltimore’s 5–3 win over the Rays on July 23.

After multiple Pac-12 teams decided to leave the conference over the weekend, just four schools remain committed to the Pac-12 for the foreseeable future. As a result, Stanford, California, Oregon State and Washington State remain in limbo, since it is untenable for a conference to exist with just four teams.
Of those four schools, Stanford and California are likely the two more attractive schools, and it appears that they are getting interest from other conferences.
