The men’s road race at the Cycling World Championships in Scotland was stopped on Sunday after activists, including one transgender protester, glued themselves to a portion of the road the race was being held on.
The trans protester, Rebecca Kerr, said that they were on site to protest the recent ruling that transgender females could not race against biological women. A total of five people were arrested after stopping the race for around 50 minutes, according to The Telegraph.
Kerr ultimately decided to help stop the race in the name of “hypocrisy.

The Lakers aren’t bidding against themselves when it comes to free agent Christian Wood, but it does appear they’re in wait-and-see mode in regard to the forward. Although Los Angeles only can offer the veteran minimum salary to Wood currently, he apparently remains the team’s top target as it looks to complete its roster.
But according to Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times, the belief is that the team would “prefer to get something done sooner than later” on its final roster spot. And Wood? He reportedly remains the team’s top choice.

Muggsy Bogues was always a fan favorite during his playing days. The 5’3” guard played well above his height and apparently has outdone Kevin Durant in one key statistic where height is—almost—everything. 
While appearing on The Hoop Chat, Bogues was asked what his thoughts were on having a better offensive rebound percentage than Durant when comparing career averages. He couldn’t help but laugh but answered with some humility and a bit of surprise. 
“Even though I was a small guard, I always got those long rebounds,” Bogues said.

The Cincinnati Reds rookie will certainly remember his MLB debut on the bump against the Washington Nationals, but for all the wrong reasons.
Richardson saw his first MLB action on Sunday, getting the start against Washington. But just two pitches into his debut, the Nationals were up 2-0.
