The New York Jets appear to have pulled out all the stops and said all the right things during Derek Carr’s visit with the franchise this past weekend.
Carr is on the hunt for a new team after his somewhat ugly split with the Las Vegas Raiders and the Jets simply want a veteran quarterback.
According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, the Jets not only told Carr that they believe he can lead them to the Super Bowl, but they took things a step further in saying that he could be a first-ballot Hall of Famer if he signs in New York.

Nick Sirianni has been the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles for just two seasons, but has quickly turned into a coach that embodies the Philly spirit. He has a little Philly scumbag in him, noticeable confidence, and will say anything that comes to mind.

While the man might have found it funny, Poirier DID NOT find it humorous at all. In a viral video of the incident, the UFC star could be seen throwing a smack at the guy from a vehicle.

It’s officially been 43 years since America beat the Soviet Union in the greatest hockey game ever played.
On February 22, 1980, a young team of scrappy Americans took the ice in Lake Placid on behalf of the USA to face off against the Soviet juggernaut during the winter Olympics.
The Soviets weren’t just great. They were the most dominant hockey dynasty in the world, and the gap between the communists out of Moscow and the rest of the world was unbelievably large.

Michigan State’s uplifting performance became the talk of the college basketball world Tuesday evening.
Tuesday night’s meeting between Michigan State and Indiana at the Breslin Center carried an enormous weight for the greater East Lansing community, as it was the men’s basketball team’s first home game since an on-campus shooting left three dead and five others wounded.
