Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy has continued to make headlines with his controversial takes. Recently, McCoy took aim at the Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott.
McCoy specifically spoke about the viral trash talking situation between Prescott and teammate Trevon Diggs. McCoy talked on FS1’s Speak Live and said that during his time in the league, he played with quarterbacks who would never have heard this kind of talk from their teammates.
Prescott was asked about McCoy’s comments on 105.3 the Fan, and the quarterback gave quite the unbothered response.

Lights out!
Football is back, which means technical issues are back.
Thursday’s NFL Hall of Fame Game between the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns suffered a temporary pause when half of the lights went out at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
The stadium’s tech issue delayed the new season’s inaugural game for 20 minutes.
The hiccup came at the start of the fourth quarter, with New York up 16-14 over Cleveland.

Despite not playing in the Hall of Fame Game, Aaron Rodgers still managed to turned heads Thursday night courtesy of his latest eyebrow-raising comments comparing Garrett Wilson to Davante Adams.
Since joining the Jets earlier this offseason, the star quarterback has spoken highly of Wilson on multiple occasions, even going as far as likening his new teammate to Adams—his Packers running mate from 2014 to ’21.
On Thursday, Rodgers, again, took a moment to sing Wilson’s praises during an interview with NBC’s Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth from the sidelines in Canton.

We gathered around the television on Thursday night to watch the Hall of Fame game because we are sadists, gambling addicts, hopelessly bored or curious about the one lingering football question one can start to have answered on a night like this: Is Zach Wilson salvageable?
It’s far too big a question to tackle in one night, of course. Wilson, especially with Aaron Rodgers ahead of him on the depth chart, will have plenty of audition time this summer. He will have better moments than we saw against the Browns.

After losing Bryce Young to the NFL, Alabama and coach Nick Saban enter the 2023 season with the unenviable task of finding the star quarterback’s replacement.
For Saban, the start of Alabama’s preseason camp on Thursday also meant the genesis of weeks of questioning regarding who’ll fill the void left by Young, who was drafted first overall by the Panthers in April.
As expected, Saban, ahead of his 17th season in Tuscaloosa, addressed the QB1 competition early in his first media session of the new campaign.
