The University of Hawai’i at Mānoa is the most isolated college in the United States. Its beautiful campus is located on the southeastern corner of O’ahu in Mānoa, a neighborhood of Honolulu.
As a result, no athletics department travels more than the Rainbow Warriors. Its seven men’s programs, 12 women’s programs and two co-ed programs have to fly at least six hours over the Pacific Ocean to California for every away game/match.

The NFL preseason can be entertaining too!
Monday Night Football’s broadcast of the Washington Commanders versus Baltimore Ravens treated audiences to a hilariously awkward moment involving Joe Buck and new Commanders owner Josh Harris.

When it comes to sports predictions, there’s perhaps none more iconic than the legend of Babe Ruth’s called shot during the 1932 World Series. Perhaps it’s because of the folk hero-like status that Ruth has occupied for nearly a century or the fact that hitting a home run is so hard to do, but predicting a homer stands as the coolest bit sports forecasting there is.
That’s what makes this sequence from Monday’s game between the Red Sox and Astros so entertaining. With two outs in the top of the first inning of a scoreless game, Boston’s Adam Duvall stepped to the plate.

The Ravens are seeking their 25th-straight preseason win, but Washington rookie CB Jartavius Martin is doing what he can to break the streak
As a football player, you are taught at an early age to “play to the whistle.”
Washington Commanders rookie Jartavius Martin offered a textbook example of that expression on Monday night.
Facing the Baltimore Ravens — a team searching their 25th-straight preseason victory — Martin and the Washington defense was on the field facing a 2nd-and-3 situation midway through the second quarter, with the Ravens knocking on the red zone.

Phillies star Bryce Harper recorded an inside-the-park home run during the fifth inning of Monday’s tilt against the Giants, benefitting from a massive ricochet and a misplay from center fielder Wade Meckler in order to make it all the way around the bases.
Harper’s hit careened off the tall wall in center field before bouncing back into the outfield. Meckler was able to get to it before too long, but fumbled twice when trying to pick the ball up off the grass, enabling Harper to freely slide into home plate without a throw.
