Senator Chuck Schumer is trying to force the government to release information related to UFOs.
There has never been more interest in UFOs than there is right now. Whistleblower David Grusch sent things through the roof when he claimed the government had concealed secret UFO programs that included the possession of crashed crafts and possibly the bodies of dead pilots.
Now, the Senator from New York has offered an amendment to the NDAA that would essentially mandate government agencies hand over whatever UFO information they might have.

The running back position has received a lot of attention this week, as studs like Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs failed to come to terms on contract extensions with their respective teams over their salaries. One runner who did get paid in the offseason is Miles Sanders, who inked a four-year, $25.4 million contract with the Panthers. He’ll make just over $6 million a year, on average.
Sanders, who’s entering his age-26 season, is coming off a “successful” campaign in which he finished 15th in fantasy points at his position.
The Steelers and linebacker Alex Highsmith have agreed to a five-year extension that will keep the standout pass-rusher in Pittsburgh for the foreseeable future, the team announced Wednesday.
Highsmith had just one year remaining on his rookie deal and was due to make $2.743 million in 2023. Under the terms of his new extension, the 25-year-old will receive $68 million over the next four years, putting him in line to earn $70.743 million across the next five seasons, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Highsmith’s new money makes him the 10th-highest paid pass rusher in the league.
The Cowboys have a busy final stretch of this offseason, along with a whole lot of work next offseason when it comes to negotiating contracts with young stars. But it appears their current outlook with one of the longer-tenured and most talented players could become a bit cloudy in the immediate future as well.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, All-Pro offensive lineman Zack Martin is reportedly considering not reporting to training camp due to unhappiness with his contract.
Draymond Green punching teammate Jordan Poole last year is still making headlines to this day. Before the 2022–23 season started and the Warriors were set to begin their title defense, a video of Green punching Poole during a practice was leaked and the team started the year on its back foot.
As a result of the incident, Green was fined and stepped away from the team for some time. He apologized, but things were never the same. While talking to 76ers guard Patrick Beverley, Green was asked about what led to the punch and he gave a cryptic answer.
To the casual soccer fan, Savannah DeMelo’s rise to U.S. women’s national team stardom seemed to happen overnight, but to those who have been following closely, the 25-year-old’s inclusion on the World Cup roster comes as no surprise—although far from a foregone conclusion.
DeMelo’s place on coach Vlatko Andonovski’s squad is nearly unprecedented, with the midfielder the first uncapped player to receive a World Cup call-up since Hall of Famer Shannon Boxx in 2003.
Does your favorite team have a package that could land Shohei Ohtani? Our experts make their best offers — and we decide which deals are worth the Angels’ time.
Death, taxes, and golf fans yelling about whether it’s The Open or the British Open. Like clockwork, each time Open Championship week rolls around the age-old debate of what the tournament is actually called, or whether or not it’s appropriate to even call it the British Open, ensues. Collin Morikawa, a former Champion Golfer of the Year, has made his mind up on the matter.
Speaking ahead of this week’s Open at Royal Liverpool, Morikawa was asked about the two names and gave both a rather savage, and accurate response.
To say the Yankees are struggling would be putting things very lightly. They limped into the All-Star break by losing four of five games and they have failed to impress out of the All-Star break by losing four of five games.
The latest loss came Tuesday night against the Angels, where the Yankees got just two hits in a 5-1 loss. They’re now 50-46 and find themselves in last place in the AL East.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone is seemingly on the hottest seat in all of baseball and if it were up to many of the team’s fans, he’d be out of the job as of five minutes ago.
