The U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) will begin their run to another World Cup Championship later tonight when they play Vietnam at 9pm ET.
And I kind of want them to lose.
No, not because I’m anti-American, and not because I have something against women’s soccer. But rather, I just want the bettor who placed SEVENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS on them to win to get a taste of their own medicine.

A bettor @DKSportsbook put $70K on the USWNT (-20000 ML) to beat Vietnam…
The bettor would win $350 with a USA victory

Jonathan Isaac is an NBA player that doesn’t fit the mold of the ultra-woke league.
Isaac is the NBA’s most fearless player. He’s a man of faith first and a basketball player second who will speak his mind openly.
Isaac went the opposite direction when the rest of the NBA kneeled for the anthem and marketed COVID vaccine mandates.
The 25-year-old was a first-round selection, and his game is impressive.

The Red Bull driver’s crash in practice will only add to the mounting pressure
The return of Daniel Ricciardo to the Formula 1 driver lineup spawned many theories about his future in the sport, and a potential “fairytale” return to Red Bull. Tennis player Amarissa Toth is facing backlash following her actions in a match against Zhang Shuai at the Hungarian Grand Prix earlier this week.
In the opening set of their round-of-32 match on Tuesday, Zhang hit a crosscourt forehand that appeared to land on the line. However, a line judge and umpire called the ball out, and that’s where the incident begins. Zhang questioned the officials’ call, and as that was occurring, Toth walked up to the ball mark on the court and appeared to rub it away with her foot.

A glaring display of bad sportsmanship.

There was an expectation heading into The Open this week that protestors with the environmental activist group ‘Just Stop Oil’ would make an appearance at Royal Liverpool. As it turns out, Friday was the day, as a few protestors stormed the 17th hole with orange flares. Unfortunately for the protestors, they decided to pull off their stunt while Billy Horschel was playing the signature Par 3.
Earlier in the week, the R&A advised players not to intervene with any potential protestors, but to not getting involved isn’t in Horschel’s DNA.

As the Women’s World Cup kicks off in Australia and New Zealand, anything could happen. But there is one predictable thing that will happen for most of those playing the duration of the month-long tournament: a period.
And if there’s someone who’s an expert on periods and women’s soccer, it’s Dawn Scott. Scott has earned a name for herself in the game by addressing what was once considered a taboo subject. And after an illustrious career with the U.S.

The bullpen catcher is unique in sports. He is not a player. He is not a coach. He squats in the bullpen before, during and after games, receiving pitches from anyone who wants to throw them. He calms over-amped relievers and reassures nervous ones. He helps pitchers feel important. He keeps track of what each one needs, physically and emotionally, and he provides it. He knows none of this is about him. His is a position of ultimate service.
When the broadcast flashes to an image of a reliever warming up, the bullpen catcher is sometimes in the shot, but off to the side.
