New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge may be inching closing to returning to the lineup.
Judge has missed most of the past month and a half after suffering a freak injury on a tremendous play at Dodger Stadium.
Initially, the team downplayed the severity somewhat, with initial expectations that he wouldn’t miss substantial time. That’s proven to be overly optimistic however, as Judge had been unable to make significant inroads towards returning.

The AFC East is shaking in its boots!
The New York Jets opened Training Camp Thursday, and they’ve found a new strategy for motivating their pass rushers. Equipment managers taped the logos of the division rival Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots to the tackling dummies.
The Jets “Training Camp Live” broadcast didn’t show a dummy with a Miami Dolphins logo, but no doubt they had one of those, too. That, or they simply don’t respect the Dolphins O-line.
Whatever gets you hyped, I guess.

Brian Harman still holds a five-shot lead despite starting 2-over on his Saturday round of the Open Championship. He didn’t let Jon Rahm’s historic 63 affect him. Instead, Harman buckled down and played his game, maintaining his large lead.
It would take a monstrous collapse for him not to capture The Open title.

The largest 54-hole lead lost at The Open is 5 shots.

Ahead of taking the field on gameday for the first time since Super Bowl LVI, Odell Beckham Jr. shared his thoughts recently on the anticipation surrounding his return to the NFL.
As is often the case for players of Beckham’s stature, questions concerning their ability to return to their once-elite form have persisted the loudest, outside noise the Ravens receiver told ESPN’s Jamison Henley he’s aware of but not allowing to affect him.
“I’m excited, but I’m also very determined and hungry,” Beckham told Henley in an interview released Saturday.

Oddly enough, Lewis Hamilton — the man with the post starts from pole in Formula 1 history — grabbing the 104th pole of his career on Saturday in Hungary felt like a bit of a surprise.
Hamilton came out on top in the slightly revamped qualifying session ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix and will start just ahead of his old rival from the 2021 season, Max Verstappen.
Despite the number of times Hamilton has started from the first spot on the grid, he hasn’t done so since 2021 in Saudi Arabia.
Even wilder, during Friday practice, Hamilton seemed to be dealing with an unwieldy car.

LIV Golf had 16 players in the Open Championship field and for the first major this season, none of them are in contention.
There were 16 LIV Golf guys in the field at the 151st Open Championship. After the cut, only nine remained. For the first major this year, none of the members of the LIV Golf tour are in contention for the championship.
Phil Mickelson highlighted the LIV golfers who missed the cut. He had an awful tournament, finishing 9-over par. But that’s not even the worst of it.
