Cowboys wide receiver David Durden exited Tuesday’s practice after making a sensational diving catch in the end zone. 
The rookie wideout suffered a concussion on the play and is not expected to be available for Dallas’s preseason opener against the Jaguars on Saturday, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.
ESPN’s Todd Archer posted footage of the highlight-reel catch from Durden. The 24-year-old could be seen laying out to complete the touchdown catch. Durden got to his feet to celebrate the reception, but he quickly returned to the ground, seemingly in pain.

The long-awaited matchup UFC fans have desired is finally set.
It was announced Tuesday that Israel Adesanya will look to defend his middleweight title against Sean Strickland at UFC 293, on Sept. 9 in Sydney, Australia.
Adesanya will return to the octagon for the first time since knocking out Alex Pereira at UFC 287 back in April. In the victory, the dominant striker avenged a previous loss to Pereira that stripped the champion of his belt. 
Strickland, who boasts a 27–5 record, enters the fight fresh off a knockout victory over Abusupiyan Magomedov back on July 1.

Entering the 2023-24 season, Scoot Henderson is one of the most hyped rookies in the NBA. The Trail Blazers selected the guard with the No. 3 pick in the draft out of the G League, and Henderson is expected to hit the ground running in Portland.
Henderson is one of many intriguing rookies this year, but the 19-year-old believes he has a chance to be the best of the bunch. In an interview with Playmaker, Henderson made a bold prediction for next season.
“I will win Rookie of the Year,” he said.

Danica Patrick fielded a question about whether or not Formula 1 needs to do more to get a female driver on the grid, saying that it’s more important for women to come through the sport the “normal” way.
She even said that the entire endgame of seeing a woman in a full-time F1 seat isn’t important to her.
Patrick appeared on the Sky Sports F1 Podcast and was asked if she thought the sport needed to do more to give a woman a chance to compete in F1.
“Well, you’re assuming I want that, you’re assuming that is important to me, and it’s not,” Patrick said, per Sky Sports.

The Southeastern Conference is sweet on 16.
SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said Tuesday that his conference is standing pat with its two latest additions – Texas and Oklahoma from 2021 announcements. The two programs will join the SEC before the 2024 football season for a 16 total.
Florida State, which was a target of SEC expansion before 1992, is out there and apparently anxious to leave the Atlantic Coast Conference. But Sankey is not recruiting new members.

The Tennessee Titans needed wide receiver help going into this season. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill knew it. He did everything he could to get free agent DeAndre Hopkins to join the team.
And, it worked.
As OutKick’s Armando Salguero reported last month, “The Titans are getting Hopkins for two years in a deal that is worth a reported $26 million. Hopkins gets $12 million in 2023 and could make up to $15 million if he reaches the deal’s incentives, per a source.”
Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill played an active role in recruiting wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the team.

Russell Wilson and his wife, Ciara, will have a new addition to their family soon.
The Broncos quarterback and the Grammy-winning singer and songwriter announced Tuesday in an Instagram video that they are expecting their third child.
Ciara showed her baby bump in the pool on the video with the song “How We Roll” playing while Wilson filmed.
“You look at me like that again, we make another kid …You my heart I’m your rib,” Ciara wrote in the post.
Wilson, in response, stated “That’s just ‘How We Roll.

University of Clemson football has been around for 127 years. The Tigers traveled to Greenville, South Carolina for their very first game against Furman in 1896.
They are one of the oldest college football programs in the country. Especially in the Southeast.
There is a lot of history at Clemson and Dabo Swinney’s tenure with the program has led it to become a prominent national brand with a lot of success in recent years. So much so that an 11-3 year in 2022 was disappointing. The bar is high.
Tradition is a big part of the Tigers’ program and Howard’s Rock is the most famous.

Dalvin Cook remains an NFL free agent. He visited the New York Jets in late July but left without a deal. There are teams interested in his services, like the Miami Dolphins, but still no contract is in place.
Less than one month from the start of the NFL season, Cook is unsigned. But he expects to play for some team this season. And he posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, showing off his quick footwork.
