After years of dysfunction, the Knicks have stabilized themselves by making the playoffs in two of the last three seasons. However, they’ve only won a single playoff series during that stretch and are still likely another star player away from becoming a Finals contender.
And it appears the franchise may be on the same page, as they’ve been named previously as a potential landing spot for numerous top names. But more specifically, one NBA analyst believes it is a foregone conclusion that New York adds a star in the near future.

Jets coach Robert Saleh told reporters that Aaron Rodgers likely tore his Achilles during the first drive of Monday night’s win against the Bills.
With Rodgers likely to miss the rest of the season, the Jets will be in need of another quarterback to either serve as the backup or compete with Zach Wilson for the starting job.
Wilson made enough plays to help the Jets pull off the thrilling victory over the Bills, but the 2021 No. 2 pick committed many mistakes throughout the rocky performance.

A pyrrhic victory for the Jets
Four plays were all it took for the Jets’ entire season outlook to change.
With training camps set to open later this month across the NBA, one major domino has yet to fall.
Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, who requested a trade earlier this offseason, remains in Portland despite his hopes of being dealt to the the Heat. According to a new report from Aaron Fentress of The Oregonian, Lillard will honor his contract and report to training camp for whatever team he is on at the time.

Aaron Rodgers’ arrival to the New York Jets was the biggest story of the NFL offseason. Unfortunately for New York, the hype lasted all of one possession.
Rodgers suffered an apparent Achilles injury on his first drive of the Jets’ showdown with the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football in Week 1. Jets head coach Robert Salah told the media “It’s not good” after the game, sparking concern that Rodgers could miss the rest of the season. Over the Labor Day weekend, Tiger Woods was seen walking PGA National in South Florida, which excited many golf fans.
A week later, the 15-time major champion visited Liberty National in New Jersey, where he chipped on the practice range alongside Rickie Fowler and Will Zalatoris.
After turning in perhaps the worst performance of his career in a Week 1 loss to the Jets, Josh Allen didn’t mince words in describing his own play.
Allen, whose lone flaw in recent years has been turnovers, had four giveaways in the game. His three interceptions slowed down the Bills offense to keep the Jets in the game despite losing Aaron Rodgers in the first quarter, and his fourth-quarter fumble gave the Jets a short field to take the lead.
