College football fans were treated to the ultimate “Big Ten West” experience Friday night
Late on Friday night, a message came through the main SB Nation Slack channel. In the middle of discussions regarding the recent Randy Gregory trade, Al Michaels not eating vegetables, and Brock Purdy having a roommate — you know, the kinds of things people often talk about at work — came this:
I’ve been watching Nebraska-Illinois and I think this is the worst football game I’ve ever seen.
Megan Rapinoe truly will not go away.
Since announcing her retirement over the summer, the former USWNT captain has been on a nauseating farewell tour — patting herself on the back the whole way.
And on Friday night, the entire city of Seattle stroked her already-inflated ego. If you watched last night’s celebration (and I already know you didn’t), you would think this woman cured cancer and solved world hunger. She is an “All-American hero,” after all.
In her final home game with her NWSL team OL Reign, the city pulled out all the stops. And fans showed up in droves.
The Pac-12 has established itself as arguably the toughest conference in college football this year, with four undefeated teams and three more squads with just one loss. Therefore, there are many big games in the conference this season, and College GameDay will be traveling to the biggest of the year, so far, next week.
ESPN announced that the network’s flagship college football pregame show will be in Seattle next weekend ahead of the matchup between No. 7 Washington and No. 8 Oregon, the two top-ranked teams in the conference.
Here’s how to watch the Kentucky vs. Georgia game this week, plus the rest of the Week 6 college football schedule.
For only the second time in the last 12 years, the Longhorns and Sooners are both ranked inside the top 12. Buckle up for that rivalry and coverage from the rest of Saturday’s games.
Warren Sapp was one of the NFL’s most polarizing players during his tenure in the league.
Sapp had a knack for disrupting offenses with his size and speed on the defensive line but his style of play and choice of words were not always pleasant. Recently, in an interview on Fearless with Jason Whitlock, Sapp reflected back on his time as a teammate of star wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, who’s now a co-host of FS1’s Undisputed. Sapp and Johnson were Buccaneers teammates for four seasons from 2000 through ’03.
I didn’t think Brian Kelly could possibly top his fake southern accent, but the LSU football coach has DONE it once again.
Like the sun rising in the morning, you can always count on Brian Kelly being an absolute weirdo. Right on cue, the second-year LSU coach fired off maybe the worst joke of all-time earlier this week ahead of the Tigers’ trip to Missouri.
Buckle up:
Brian Kelly telling the press, “We’ll see you in Columbia (Missouri), bring your Columbia jackets.” could literally be the worst joke ever told. pic.twitter.
Deion Sanders will look to get his Colorado program back on track Saturday after consecutive Pac-12 losses to conference powerhouses Oregon and USC. The Buffaloes (3–2) will get the chance to do exactly that on the road in Tempe against Arizona State (1–4).
Colorado showed plenty of fight last weekend against the Trojans in a matchup that initially looked as if it might get out of hand quickly. Despite trailing 34–14 at half, the Buffaloes—led by star quarterback Shedeur Sanders—battled back and nearly pulled off the upset before ultimately falling, 48–41.
Give this DJ a drink and a raise immediately!
New video has been released of Michael Jordan vacationing with his wife in Cannes visiting a bar/restaurant when suddenly the DJ begins to play Jordan’s classic Chicago Bulls “Sirius” intro song.

JORDAN WAS LOVING IT
As a DJ myself, it’s always a risky move to do what this guy did.
