Giants quarterback Daniel Jones’s first-glance statline from New York’s 24–3 loss to the Seahawks Monday evening was rough enough—27-of-34 passes completed for 203 yards and two interceptions.
However, it was the 10 sacks he took that raised eyebrows across the league. Jones was under constant pressure from a feisty Seattle defense, and gradually crumbled as the Giants dropped to 1–3 on the season.
The scene on the Giants sideline involving quarterback Daniel Jones and coach Brian Daboll on Monday night was uncomfortable, to put it lightly. There were multiple clips of an obviously frustrated Daboll appearing to clearly state his frustrations to Jones after major miscues en route to a 24–3 loss to the Seahawks.
But after Jones threw a back-breaking 97-yard pick-six to Seattle’s Devon Witherspoon when New York was just yards out from potentially cutting the lead to four, Daboll was left baffled on the sidelines.

Hernández also worked what Umpire Auditor graded out as the lowest-rated game by any umpire this season, a Sept.

Seattle Seahawks rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon had the chance to introduce himself to a national audience during Monday Night Football.
And what an introduction it was.
Against the New York Giants Monday night, all Witherspoon did was record seven tackles and two sacks, as well as a game-breaking interception of Daniel Jones which he returned for a 97-yard touchdown.

The New York Giants got beat by 17-plus points for the third time in four games this season, losing 24–3 to the Seahawks on national television. Naturally, a result like that (particularly with the brutal offensive performance that the Giants put up) sent plenty of fans at MetLife Stadium to the exits early. That produced a savage moment from Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, as they waited out the conclusion of the game.
