Gary Woodland and Will Zalatoris are back!
Both players, beloved by their peers and fans alike, are currently in the field at next week’s Sony Open in Hawaii—the first full-field event on the PGA Tour in 2024.
Woodland last played at the Wyndham Championship in August, where he tied for 27th. A few weeks later—days after the Tour Championship—Woodland announced that he needed to have surgery to remove a brain lesion.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr addressed the recent drama stirred up around third-year forward Jonathan Kuminga on Friday.
“I played 15 years and all 15 I was frustrated with my playing time,” Kerr told reporters ahead of the Warriors’ matchup against the Detroit Pistons.
In the aftermath of the Warriors’ 130–127 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, The Athletic reported that Kuminga “has lost faith in Steve Kerr and no longer believes that Kerr will allow him to reach his full potential.”
“We talked,” Kerr said Friday.
Connor Bedard was ruled out of Friday’s showdown between the Chicago Blackhawks and New Jersey Devils after being on the receiving end of a big hit by Brendan Smith in the first period.
As Bedard crossed the blue line into the offensive zone, Smith delivered a high hit that struck Chicago’s young star around the jaw area.
Bedard skated to the bench holding his face—and proceeded to head immediately to the locker room.

Day joined Malbon Golf’s team, a luxury golf brand that landed Day as its first PGA Tour ambassador. He talked about not wanting to look just like the other players on Tour. Well, mission accomplished, I guess.

With 24 seconds left in the game, Wembanyama stuffed Antetokounmpo well above the rim for his fifth block of the night. The moment immediately went viral, and resulted in a picture that had NBA fans stunned.
“The block heard around the world,” the Spurs official account wrote on Instagram.
