Red Bull’s Sergio Pérez is dealing with illness ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix
Red Bull driver Sergio Pérez is currently dealing with an illness, just days before the Austrian Grand Prix.
The driver was slated to be available for television interviews on Thursday, but the team stated that Pérez had felt “unwell” on Wednesday night and would not be at the track on Thursday, instead using the day to rest in preparation for this weekend.

The Mets have had a disastrous 2023 season so far and those bad times continued Wednesday night when they lost at home to the Brewers, 5–2. 
Mets manager Buck Showalter wasn’t around to see the end of the game because he was shown the door by the umpires after arguing a questionable call in the top of the eighth inning. 
In case you missed it, Brewers center fielder Joey Wiemer was hit by a pitch, but it also looked like he was swinging the bat at the time and that it should have been called a strike instead.

Amid so much uncertainty surrounding the PGA Tour’s deal with the Saudi’s PIF, the EVP of the tour made a very direct statement as to who is in control.

Let’s hand out winners and losers from the 2023 NHL Draft.
The Chicago Blackhawks won the NHL Draft. There. Done. It doesn’t matter what happens from here, because the Hawks got a generational talent in Connor Bedard who should be able to change their on-ice culture quickly and turn Chicago back into a winning team on his own.
Yes, he’s that damn good — and if the front office can put more help around him we’ll see something very special.
The issue is that the pick still feels so … icky. There’s no better way to say it.

Let the trend of NFL players referring to themselves as things that simply aren’t human continue. First, it was Odell Beckham Jr. comparing himself to a Ferrari, and now we have Micah Parsons referring to himself as a safari, a full-on excursion.
Parsons is undoubtedly one of the best defensive players in all of the NFL, and as he’s preparing to enter his third season, the Penn State product is taking his trash talk to all-new levels.
He’s fully aware that opposing offenses are going to scheme around him, but he’s not worried about it, seeing as how he’s the king of the jungle.

The Lakers may have their sights set on making a mini-splash early in NBA free agency. According to a recent report from Mike Singer of The Denver Post, Los Angeles has “significant interest” in signing a former fan-favorite of the defending NBA champions Nuggets, guard Bruce Brown.

One team with significant interest in signing Bruce Brown away from Denver is the Los Angeles Lakers, multiple sources told @denverpost.
The Lakers could offer him the full MLE ($12.3M annually). Nuggets can only offer up to $7.8M this year.

Iga Światek is the top-ranked women’s tennis player in the world. She enters Wimbledon as the top-seeded player on the women’s side, and is coming off a win at the 2023 French Open, her fourth major title.
But there are a few reasons why she is not considered the clear favorite for the 2023 Wimbledon Championships.
Światek’s best finish in London came back in 2021, when she advanced to the fourth round.

Over his five seasons with the Raiders, Darren Waller has shown more than just glimpses of explosiveness and elite-level upside. Waller was dominant for stretches with his former team, and more specifically, those stretches came when he was healthy.
Waller took a major step forward in 2019, catching 90 passes for 1,145 yards and three touchdowns over 16 games. This breakout came after catching just 18 passes total since entering the league in 2015.

Nick Saban is arguably the greatest college football coach to ever stand on the sideline. While some fans may debate whether or not he’s worthy of that title, what isn’t debatable is the fact that the legendary coach is a certified golf sicko.
The Alabama head coach has had the golf bug for quite a while now, as evident from a recently told all-time story from one of his former assistant coaches, Tyler Siskey, who joined Saban’s staff in 2013.

San Antonio Spurs guard Devonte’ Graham pleaded guilty to driving while impaired.
Graham was arrested in July 2022 after being pulled over for speeding while intoxicated in the early morning hours in Raleigh, according to TMZ. His BAC was .11, which is above the legal driving limit of .08.
Now, he’s reached a conclusion in the case. Graham pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving while impaired and had the speeding charge dismissed, according to TMZ. He is scheduled to be sentenced at some point in July.
