Shohei Ohtani might be the best Secret Santa of all time.
The reigning American League MVP gifted a brand new Porsche to Ashley Kelly — wife of Dodgers’ pitcher Joe Kelly — as a token of his appreciation for her role in recruiting him to Los Angeles.
Ashley posted the video of her surprise new car to Instagram late Saturday night.
“It’s yours. From Shohei,” she is told in the video. “He wanted to gift you a Porsche. I swear.”

The only fight we saw out of Eastern Michigan against South Alabama on Saturday night during the 68Ventures bowl game took place after the 59-10 loss.
South Alabama cruised to its first ever bowl win in their home stadium without its starting quarterback, which led to a tense moment following the final whistle. The game was out of control from an offensive standpoint, with USA leading 52-3 in the third quarter.
But it was the postgame kerfuffle that had folks in the stadium talking, and filming.

The first one came courtesy of Blackhawks rookie phenom Connor Bedard. He threw down the iconic move against the St. Louis Blues and did so with authority.

Chicago Blackhawks rookie Connor Bedard has lived up to expectations in his first NHL season, as the No. 1 draft pick boasts 13 goals and 30 points in 33 games. The 18-year-old center’s latest highlight came on Saturday, when he successfully pulled off a “Michigan goal” in a game against the St. Louis Blues.
The move, which was made famous by University of Michigan winger Mike Legg in 1996, occurs when a player picks up the puck with his stick behind the net—seemingly defying gravity—and scores on a wraparound shot, similar to a lacrosse goal.

There was a scary moment during Saturday night’s game between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Toronto Maple Leafs when Columbus center Sean Kuraly left the game following a collision and was taken to a nearby hospital.
It happened late in the first period. Kuraly was battling for a puck behind the net when he took a hit from Toronto defenceman Jake McCabe.
Kuraly went down a little awkwardly but managed to get to his feet and even played the puck. However, he was left doubled over in clear agony and made his way to the bench.

Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are 11-2 and will play Liberty in the Fiesta Bowl. While the team missed the playoff, it was still a very solid year for the program.
He clearly has it trending in the proper direction. While there’s no debate about that, there is a lot of debate unfolding online about Lanning’s cooking skills after he dropped a viral video.
