Bengals star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was interviewed by Sports Illustrated‘s Robin Lundberg on Tuesday morning to discuss a wide range of topics, including Chase’s list of the best wide receivers to ever play the game.
Towards the end of the interview, Chase revealed his Mount Rushmore of wide receivers, and the list didn’t disappoint.
“Alright, Imma do Calvin Johnson,” Chase began. “I gotta get Antonio Brown in there … I’d probably throw Cooper Kupp in there. I’d throw Kupp in there, gotta throw Kupp in there with the triple crown, and Jerry Rice of course.

We are inching closer to the start of the 2023 NFL season, so it’s time for the mad dash of fantasy football drafts to begin. That makes it more important than ever to put your players into positional “tiers.” Unlike my player rankings, tiers group players of similar value. So, if you miss out on a particular player, you can see others on the same tier as an alternative. And if that tier has been cleared, it might be a good idea to wait a round or two on players who fall into the next tier at the position.
The Little League World Series gets underway on Wednesday, and to me, it always signaled the end of summer.
But what a way to wrap things up.
Kids give it everything they’ve got to bring glory to their country, state, or region while other kids who aren’t as good at baseball slide down a hill on pieces of cardboard.
It is, in short, a slice of Americana.
While the games themselves are entertaining, the LLWS packs in even more entertainment value with the player questionnaire. In my opinion, this is the most fascinating part of the entire spectacle.
The Bengals–Chiefs rivalry has become one of the premiere matchups in the NFL over the last two seasons, with both teams matching up in the last two AFC championship games. When asked whether the rivalry is the best in the NFL, Cincinnati star Ja’Marr Chase had a predictable answer.
“Right now, yeah,” Chase told Sports Illustrated’s Robin Lundberg.
And the offseason hasn’t stopped the two sides from chirping at one another. Chase found himself making headlines over the summer when he was asked who the best quarterback in the NFL was and he said Joe Burrow.
The transfer of superstar Brazilian winger Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal has officially been completed, per an announcement from the club on Tuesday morning.
The club released a 70-second teaser during which they confirmed the capture of the 31-year-old on a two-year deal which is reportedly extremely lucrative.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Neymar’s deal with Al Hilal is worth $300 million over two seasons and could potentially reach a value of as much as $400 million, when financials from performance based add-ons and commercial deals are tacked on.
Coming off the August 2nd Board of Trustees meeting, Florida State officials made it clear that an exit from the ACC is on the horizon. The only question remaining was how long would it take for the Seminoles to come up with an exit strategy.
Now, the deadline to inform the ACC of an exit to play elsewhere in 2024 has come and gone, but questions surrounding the future still remain. Florida State had until today to let the conference know it would be moving on, but no such announcement materialized.
New Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy was the subject of a strange storyline last week when coach Ron Rivera told reporters that players have come to him with complaints on how hard Bieniemy was riding them.
Rivera would go on to clarify his comments and apologize for making them in the first place but it remained a significant talking point with Bieniemy, who’s found much success during his time as an OC but has yet to be given a head coaching job.
The 2023 NFL season is less than a month away and players across the league are frothing at the mouth. Teams have mostly been competing against their own which leads to heightened excitement when it’s time to get on the field against another team.
Sometimes Often times, that leads tempers to flare and tensions to boil over as they did on Tuesday.

Three years ago, Olympia Fields hosted the 2020 BMW Championship, which Rahm won in thrilling fashion. He sunk a 66-foot birdie putt to defeat Dustin Johnson in a playoff.
