The Cincinnati Bengals offensive line was shorthanded, but they dominated the Bills. Meanwhile, it was Josh Allen who struggled from a poor offensive line.
Going into Sunday’s Divisional Round game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills, one of the biggest storylines was the concern about the Bengals offensive line. Cincinnati entered the game without three starters—left tackle Jonah Williams, right guard Alex Cappa and right tackle La’el Collins—in the lineup.
The emotion of this Bills’ season seemed to set up a dream ending. On Sunday, another Super Bowl contender had other plans.
The script, it seemed, had been crafted. This was late-January playoff football in Buffalo. This was snow swirling, traffic jamming, and Bills Mafia out drinking and chanting and jumping through tables. Typical. And, ultimately, not typical at all.
This was at the end of a brutal year, even by the local standards, after the blizzard to end all blizzards and the racist mass shooting at a grocery store and Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest.
He can’t keep getting away with this!
Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Eli Apple is back to gobbling up the team’s success — gloating on the sideline as Cincy escapes another high-profile AFC matchup with a win.
On Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, Apple made sure to bring out his signature taunting, regardless of his minimul impact on the game.
Despite Josh Allen having an off day, Apple swallowed up the sub-par performance.
The Eagles outdid themselves with this clever shot.
There was never any love lost between Giants legend Eli Manning and the Eagles throughout his long career and to this day the trash talking persists. The city of Philadelphia outdid themselves this time, though, and came up with a clever way to welcome Manning back to the city ahead of the teams’ divisional playoff game Saturday.
The Eagles put up a billboard that read, “Welcome back to Philly, Eli. We salute you!” Philadelphia added two pictures of eagles to presumably fill in where some more colorful language would have been used.

Cincinnati rumbles back to AFC title game with dominant win at Buffalo
The Kansas City Chiefs have two quarterback problems as we head to the AFC Championship week.
On Saturday, the Chiefs found a way to advance to the championship game despite superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffering a high ankle sprain and missing a large chunk of the first half before playing the second half on essentially one leg. Mahomes is planning to play through the injury next week.
Summing it all up as “a bad day,” Houston coach Kelvin Sampson watched his No. 1 Cougars fall to Temple 56-55 at home on Sunday afternoon, adding to a weekend of upsets across the Top 25.

After his historically woeful performance against the Buccaneers last week—in which he became the first kicker in NFL history to miss four extra-point attempts in one game—Cowboys kicker Brett Maher was a major topic of conversation heading into Sunday’s divisional-round matchup against the 49ers.
Hours before kickoff, let’s just say that things could have gone better.
