West Virginia men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins appears to have been arrested for driving under the influence in Pittsburgh Friday night, according to a report posted to the public safety blotter on the city’s police department website.
A Robert Huggins of Morgantown, W.Va., age 69, was arrested and charged with DUI after failing field sobriety tests. While West Virginia athletic officials have not responded to requests for comment, a source tells Sports Illustrated that school officials are aware of the situation and are gathering more information.

Harris English wasn’t a player that stood out on Day 1 of the 123rd U.S. Open. But after his commanding 4-under 66 Friday, the former Georgia Bulldog is right in contention. His first-round 67, followed by his 66, put him in solo fifth on the leaderboard and just three shots off the lead.

Patriots cornerback Jack Jones was arrested on Friday for having two firearms in his luggage while traveling through Logan International Airport, according to the Associated Press. 
Law enforcement charged Jones with two counts of possession of a concealed weapon in a secure area of an airport, possession of ammunition without a Firearm Identification Card, unlawful possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a large-capacity feeding device.

Patriots CB Jack Jones was arrested for attempting to bring firearms aboard a flight, sources confirm.

In a newly surfaced video from May 14, Morant shows off a fake pistol that is actually a lighter. He is seen lighting candles with the “gun” in an effort to show his family and friends that he did not have a real firearm during his fateful Instagram Live.

Oregon State football commit Brandon Smith is facing a serious legal charge after being taken into police custody.
Smith committed to the Beavers back on June 2, but he’s accused of participating in an attempted murder on the same day, according to ESPN. The former Santa Barbara City College running back has been hit with an attempted murder charge after a man was found seriously injured following a fight with four men.
Smith was taken into custody June 7, and now faces charges of suspicion of attempted murder, robbery and conspiracy.

The Giants beat the Dodgers 7–5 in 11 innings on Friday night, but one of baseball’s oldest rivalries didn’t end before a bizarre play from both sides.
With Los Angeles down two and a man on second in the bottom of the eleventh, Mookie Betts popped a ball up in the infield, before chaos ensued. Giants third baseman Casey Schmitt dropped the ball, then threw it into right field trying to get Betts at first.
While it seemed like the Dodgers were gonna catch a break, their baserunners got caught in between, as Betts and Michael Busch were caught in rundowns.

Newly surfaced video shows UFC star Conor McGregor and his accuser together at a club just minutes after the alleged rape.
A woman accused McGregor of violently sexually assaulting her inside the men’s restroom after an NBA Finals game in Miami.
The new video, first released by TMZ, shows McGregor and the woman appearing to exchange words at a table before Conor eventually leaves the area.
It was shot around 12:40 a.m. on June 10 inside the Kaseya Center. That’s roughly 30 minutes after the woman says he attacked her.
