Nobody was a bigger Cinderella last year than the Seahawks.
Seattle, picked by many pundits to finish with one of the league’s worst records, went 9–8 behind a stunning Pro Bowl season from quarterback Geno Smith. Although the Seahawks were handled in the wild-card round by the 49ers, there’s reason to believe Seattle has found its next contention window.
Last offseason was highlighted by the trading of star quarterback Russell Wilson, but the real treasure was the draft.

Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has heard enough stories about Rob Gronkowski’s legacy as a party animal.
The 6-foot-6 former Arizona Wildcat-turned-Patriot was great at two things as an NFL tight end: catching touchdowns from Tom Brady and crushing beer like Gatorade (off the field).
Julian Edelman: Story is Total ‘B.S.’
A former Patriot, Jake Bequette, shared a story about Gronkowski’s partying days. The story prompted Julian Edelman to respond and call the account “fake.

A viral photo of Victor Wembanyama is making rounds on social media after he posed alongside some Spurs legends during a recent dinner.
In the photo are Wembanyama, Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Manu Ginóbili and Sean Elliott, and it’s immediately noticeable just how much taller San Antonio’s No. 1 pick is than the rest of the group.
Ginóbili offered a hilarious reaction to the photo on Twitter, suggesting that if this was the Spurs’ five-man lineup, he’d be playing the point guard position.
This past week, the NHL decided to ban all specialty warmup jerseys next season. The decision came largely because of all the problems that Pride Night’s caused for teams and the league last year. Obviously, ESPN is not happy about this decision because it allegedly “upsets the LGBTQ community.”
Especially unhappy about the decision is ESPN NHL writer Greg Wyshynsky. Wyshynsky heavily criticized Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov, one of several NHL players who declined to wear a Pride jersey during warmups this season.
