For the first time in 65 years, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will play football in different conferences in 2024.
The Sooners and Cowboys will bid farewell to one of college football’s most spirited in-state rivalries for the foreseeable future on Nov. 4, before Oklahoma moves on to the SEC. It’s a series that dates back to 1904 — three years before the state of Oklahoma was admitted to the Union.
However, according to Oklahoma athletic director Joe Castiglione, the door might not be closed on a Bedlam renaissance in football.

The Bills’ offseason mandatory minicamp is being cut short after just two days.
Despite initially planning to make use of all three days, with the minicamp expected to end Thursday, the team’s plans have been altered, and the program ended a day early.
The decision comes on the heels of drama stirred up by wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who was not present for the first day of camp. He was in attendance on Wednesday, however.

The 2024 football schedule for the SEC has been released after the conference decided on a temporary eight-game schedule. The additions of Texas and Oklahoma were the catalyst in the SEC deciding to announce the schedule earlier in the Summer. Also, the SEC Network was able to parlay this into a must-watch event around the south.
As good as some of these matchups are, the SEC still screwed up when it comes to a few of these first-year games. The fact we still haven’t seen Georgia and Texas A&M play in College Station is a travesty.

As the United States men’s national soccer team continues its search for a permanent head coach, one candidate has apparently made it clear he’s interested in being considered for the position: former Arsenal legend and Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira.
Vieira has already had contact with the U.S. Soccer Federation, according to ESPN’s Julien Laurens, but so far talks have been preliminary.
The team is in need of a permanent manager after Gregg Berhalter’s contract expired following the 2022 World Cup and was not renewed.
