Bronny James has not even begun his first season at USC yet, but that hasn’t stopped NBA analysts from creating mock drafts speculating where LeBron James’s son could be picked should he enter the NBA draft a year from now.
ESPN has Bronny mocked to the Hawks with the No. 17 pick in the 2024 draft. After the Worldwide Leader shared the mock draft to its Instagram story, LeBron jumped in on the action.
“Wellllll ATL shawty the #JamesGang will be pulling up,” he posted with crying laughing emojis.

Keegan Bradley is as New England as you can possibly get.
He celebrates victories with Sam Adams, roots for the Boston Red Sox, and, not surprisingly, loves Tom Brady.

The Kansas City Royals hosted the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday night, and the game was scoreless until the bottom of the eighth inning. That’s when Kansas City infielder Kicky Lopez came to the plate with Dairon Blanco on third base, and just one out.
Lopez chopped a slow roller right back to pitcher Trevor Stephan, who corralled the grounder and looked home, as Blanco had gone halfway down the first-base line.
Stephan’s throw was, well, a little off-target:
Juuuust a bit outside.
Welcome to the 14th installment of a weekly mailbag that I will be writing about the world of sports media (and anything else you want to chime in on). Please email me any questions you have to Jimmy.Traina@si.com or send them via Twitter.
We start this week with an email question.
Jimmy, huge fan of your writing and podcast. As someone who follows sports media closely, you are the best source of information. My question for you is regarding the MLB All-Star Game and HR Derby.
As the Mets continue to sputter as one of the unexpected stories of the baseball season, a report has emerged suggesting that star pitcher Max Scherzer could waive his no-trade clause if the team were interested in moving him at the trade deadline.
Per a story written by Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, Scherzer could be one of several players who could be moved in a hard sell-off by the team at the deadline. However, he’d have to waive the no-trade clause in his contract, a move that isn’t out of the realm of possibility.

Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford said that he repeatedly warned beachgoers to be careful following drowning deaths in the area located along the Gulf of Mexico. This same area is where Mallett passed away Tuesday.
Just an hour away at Panama City Beach, authorities have had seven drownings alone in June – making it unfortunately the deadliest beach in the country.

Dustin Johnson has always been an ardent supporter of LIV Golf and let it be known he is happy with what he is doing right now.
Dustin Johnson has been one of the more vocal supporters of LIV Golf since its inception. As more details with the PGA Tour deal with the Saudi Public Investment Fund have been revealed, it has sounded like doors were opening for LIV golfers to return.
Johnson made it very clear he has no intention of doing that. Prior to this weekend’s LIV Golf tournament at luxurious Valderrama, he addressed the media.
Derek Carr has made his presence felt right out of the gate with the Saints, and from the sound of it, teammates are buying stock in their new signal-caller.
But while having a belief that your new quarterback is the “right” choice to lead the team is one thing, New Orleans tight end Juwan Johnson had no problem turbo-charging the hype surrounding Carr.
While speaking with SiriusXM NFL Radio, Johnson tossed out the highest praise a Saints quarterback can receive: a comparison to former NFL star Drew Brees.

“NBC is a player,” Marchand said on The Ariel Helwani Basketball Show earlier this week. “I think they’re gonna fight with TNT for Tuesday. It’s possible they could try to do Sunday Night Basketball after Sunday Night Football.
