MetLife Stadium will host NHL games on back to back days as part of next year’s Stadium Series, the league announced Saturday. The Devils will play the Flyers on Feb. 17, and the Rangers and Islanders will face off on Feb. 18 in East Rutherford, N.J.
“We had always wanted to go back to play a game a MetLife Stadium. It’s always been an interest of ours,” NHL executive Steve Mayer said in a statement. “MetLife is an extremely difficult place to think about doing a Winter Classic because of the two NFL teams that are in that building, the Jets and the Giants.

Lando Norris delivered a shocking performance on Saturday, qualifying third for the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix.
His prediction about his performance in the race itself was equally shocking.

Saturday’s college baseball game between Clemson and Tennessee was one for the ages, but the umpiring crew found a way to suck all of the energy out of the night by ejecting Cam Cannarella for what appeared to be a ludicrous reason. As a result, the Tigers’ best hitter will also miss the team’s next game.
It’s a real shame.
Cannarella, a freshman, leads Clemson in batting average, hits, runs and runs batted in during his first year with the program. He was crucial on Saturday, during the Tigers’ second game of their Regional at home in South Carolina.

Bryce Young is already making a substantial impression on the Carolina Panthers.
The Panthers traded up to snag the first pick in the NFL Draft, and used it to select the former Alabama passer.
Young is expected to be QB1 week one when the season opens, even if fans have to go through the whole song and dance of pretending Andy Dalton might push him for the spot.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs wants to know what everyone is talking about when they compare his current QB, Jordan Love, and his former signal-caller, Aaron Rodgers.
Doubs says he doesn’t notice a difference.
Which is wild, because every Packers fan I’ve ever spoken to certainly does.
“I think Jordan is a really good quarterback,” Doubs said in an interview with Spectrum News 1’s Dennis Krause. “When you go from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan, Aaron was a really great quarterback, but I believe Jordan can do the same exact thing.
