The Philadelphia Phillies broadcast team was none too pleased with the way Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor threw the ball to first for the second out of a double play.
In the top of the 5th inning with no outs and first baseman Kody Clemens on first, Third baseman Edmundo Sosa lined one straight to Lindor.
Probably assuming there was no way he was going to get a hold of it, Clemens was well on his way to second when Lindor snagged it. The Mets shortstop then flipped a casual throw that bounced its way to first. This left Phils’ announcers Tom McCarthy and Ben Davis big mad.

A report that Shannon Sharpe negotiated a buyout to leave FS1 and Undisputed prompted him to like disparaging tweets about his co-host Skip Bayless.
Specifically, Sharpe liked a post likening Bayless to “Weird Al” Yankovic and himself to James Brown. He also favored a tweet accusing Bayless of growing jealous of his supposed stardom:

Suffice to say the split is not amicable, at least in the mind of Sharpe.
Tensions between the two were evident on-air, with both taking personal shots at each other over the past six months.

A spirited group of alumni gathered to meet with coaches of the football and men’s and women’s basketball teams, and AD Terry Mohajir. The Knights are just about to finish their life cycle in the American Athletic conference and start anew in the Big 12. Travis Swaggerty is an outfielder in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. On Wednesday, he took to Twitter to discuss his wife Peyton’s battle with an “extremely rare, painful blood disease that has completely taken over her body.”

After the Celtics fell into a 3–0 hole against the Heat in the Eastern Conference finals, one that the team nearly dug itself out of, team governor Wyc Grousbeck issued a fiery challenge to the roster ahead of Game 4.
Per a report from Jared Weiss of The Athletic, Grousbeck went into the locker room and told the players they needed to “play with some balls” which left the players and coaching staff stunned.
Celtics veteran Blake Griffin confirmed the report, and told The Athletic that Grousbeck, who is widely respected by the players and coaches alike, was right.
