MLB may have sensed a change in the political winds.
Like the vast majority of modern corporations, Major League Baseball is usually eager to shore up its progressive credentials.
As they do most years, MLB changed its logo on June 1st to celebrate pride month, with the current version of the LGBTQ+ flag as the background.
But after just one day up on the league’s social media accounts, it quietly disappeared. Instead replaced by the traditional MLB logo after just a day up on Facebook and Twitter.

Wow. The MLB just quietly removed their LGBTQ+ Pride logo. pic.twitter.

A year before turning Jalen Hurts into the $255 million man, the Eagles reportedly considered swinging a blockbuster trade that would’ve prevented the breakout 2022 season that led to the star quarterback’s massive extension.
During a recent appearance on ESPN radio affiliate Seattle Sports, Sports Illustrated’s Greg Bishop addressed an interesting rumor concerning a nixed deal that would’ve brought Broncos star Russell Wilson, who was then with the Seahawks, to Philadelphia.

In the midst of its unbridled stretch of dominance in English football, it’s almost easy to forget Manchester City ran into a surprising roadblock on its way to its fifth Premier League title in the past six years.

‘ChiefsAholic’ cut ankle monitor to avoid police in latest scheme
Back in December the world learned the truth behind Kansas City Chiefs superfan “ChiefsAholic.” That came to light when the well-known NFL superfan did not show up at the Chiefs’ game on the road against the Houston Texans.
Internet sleuths got to sleuthing, and uncovered something that defied belief. The man inside the wolf costume was identified as Xaviar Babudar, and he had something of a shocking past.
As in, bank-robbing kind of shocking.

The process by which a college football player signs with a university is a labor-intensive, sometimes four-year courtship that ends on National Signing Day, either in December or February.
According to some coaches, it should end in a different way.
“It would help all of us and our high school coaches that, after Aug. 1 of their senior year, they can sign a national letter of intent any day they want with any school,” Auburn coach Hugh Freeze says.
The idea of a sign-when-you-receive-a-letter-of-intent model is not new.
