Former Cincinnati Bengals running back Corey Dillon is not in the team’s recently created “Ring of Honor.” And Dillon is PISSED about that.
He did not hold back at all, lambasting the team and exclaiming that he belongs among the franchise’s greats.
Dillon spoke to The Athletic, and blasted the team over and over again. This is not unlike Dillon’ career in Cincinnati.
During a 2000 contract dispute, Dillon famously said, “I’ll be flipping burgers or something. I’ll sit. They can take their $1.3 million and they know what they can do with it.

DeChambeau was trying to get a perspective into how a blind golfer plays the game he loves. Clearly, that point was missed by the golf publication.
Bryson DeChambeau is no stranger to getting picked on by the media and golf fans alike. The latest situation, though, will leave a bad taste in anyone’s mouth.
Golf.com’s Twitter account posted a photo of DeChambeau wearing some curious-looking glasses with “Presented without comment” as the caption.

As the 2023 NFL season slowly approaches, Deebo Samuel and the 49ers are set to open training camp in just a few weeks. Rookies will report on July 18 with veterans rolling into Santa Clara seven days later.
In the meantime, Samuel is doing freakish things to close out the offseason.
San Francisco’s 27-year-old ‘Wide Back,’ a term he coined himself, is coming off what he considered a down season. Samuel had more than 1,400 yards receiving and 350 yards rushing in 2021, but slowed to just 632 and 232 in 2022.

WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier are co-founding a new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league to give WNBA players an option to play domestically in the offseason, they told ESPN on Thursday.
The “Unrivaled” basketball league would run from January through March, and would feature 30 of the top women’s professional players on six teams. These teams would play 3-on-3 games and 1-on-1 at a soundstage in Miami, per ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne.

In last week’s edition of ‘Soccer Fans Are The Wildest Sports Fans On The Plant’ we had a Brazilian man randomly leaving everything in his will to Neymar. This week, we have a soccer fan allegedly stabbing another fan at Levi’s Stadium and being charged with attempted murder.
The alleged incident took place during Sunday’s Mexico – Qatar match in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Mexico supporters were caught fighting one another last month after falling to the United States, but things hit an entirely different level during the team’s embarrassing loss to Qatar over the weekend.

With 34 years of experience, Jerry Layne is MLB’s longest-tenured active umpire. He’s been calling big league games since 1989 and during that time has surely dealt with his fair share of irate players and managers. In Wednesday night’s game between the Angels and Padres, that experience showed. 
In bottom of the seventh inning, Angels manager Phil Nevin loudly voiced his displeasure with Layne’s strike zone. Layne let him vent a little bit but after Nevin’s argument continued, he was ejected. 
That’s when Nevin decided to get his money’s worth.
