Shohei Ohtani added another unforgettable game to his legendary career Tuesday night when he struck out 10 White Sox batters and also hit two home runs in the Angels’ 4–2 win at home.
Ohtani’s first home run came in the bottom of the first inning, and it was an absolute no-doubter that landed deep in the seats in right field. That was his 27th home run of the season and he found a really smart way to celebrate it in the dugout, considering he was pitching in the game.

Jason Kelce has put together a resumé worthy of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But on Wednesday, he showed that he’s dominant off of the football field too and NFL fans were nothing if not impressed.
The Eagles center squared off against sports radio host James Seltzer and the two had a good, old-fashioned chug off for the world to watch. The challenge was to see who would finish their full stein of beer first and Kelce’s performance was much-watch athletics.
Standing at 6’3” and nearly 300 pounds, Kelce erased the drink in just five short seconds.

Is this the start of a run back to the Olympics?
Simone Biles is back. Following a three-year absence from competition, the GOAT is coming back to compete at the U.S. Classic, hinting at a potential run at qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Biles stepped away from the sport in 2020, shortly following the games in Tokyo. It was a crushing games for Biles, as she sat out the vault, floor, and all-around finals while dealing with a bout of the “twisties.
The Blazers appear committed to building around Damian Lillard, while Miami is patiently waits for a trade request that may not come.
Travis Kelce is currently on top of the world this summer. The eight-time Pro Bowler is still celebrating his second Super Bowl win from February and is enjoying the newfound success that his and his brother Jason’s podcast, New Heights, has found. But it wasn’t always like this.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, Kelce was emotional recalling some of his more turbulent days. His lowest moment was in 2010 when he was suspended for a year while playing for Cincinnati in college.
Ja Morant flashing a gun on Instagram Live not once, but twice, and recently receiving a 25-game suspension without pay has overshadowed his back-and-forth lawsuit involving a teenage basketball player. The lawsuit, however, has officially hit a level of absurdity that we can’t ignore it any longer.
The civil case dates back to July 2022 when Morant and then 17-year-old Joshua Holloway were playing a pickup game at the NBA star’s home outside of Memphis.
Apparently, Sara Walsh doesn’t like that her former MLB player and coach husband, Matt Buschmann, plays a lot of golf. She took to “Good Morning Football,” NFL Network’s morning show, to go on a long-winded rant about it.
Because, you know, the vast majority of viewers for “Good Morning Football” and NFL Network can’t possibly be golf-playing husbands and fathers.
But, no, Walsh is tired of her husband “asking for permission” to play golf and then getting upset that he has to “ask for permission.” That sounds more like a personal issue, but I digress.
This is highway robbery.
NASCAR is headed to Chicago this weekend for the Grant Park 220 street race, and I’ve never seen a more upsetting photo of a concessions stand than this one.
Lmao what the fuck? NASCAR got it’s start bootlegging. You owe it to Dale to smuggle your beer into this race. pic.twitter.com/Nj3Osx2Udr

There’s so much to unpack here. Firstly, the price — it’s obviously disgusting.
The apple does not fall far from the tree when it comes to Lane Kiffin and his son, Knox. Ole Miss’ 48-year-old head coach is known to jab the ribs of opposing coaches on Twitter and during media appearances.
His 14-year-old son is equally as quick to take shots at rivals, which we found out over the weekend.
Knox, who was born in Knoxville, was in Louisiana for the prestigious Manning Passing Academy. Although he is still four years away from making a decision on where to go to college, the youngest Kiffin is set up to shine at quarterback in the Class of 2028.

Whenever you feel down, remember you get to watch Ohtani do this stuff in real time
I’m not even going to waste time here, so let’s go ahead and say it:
Shohei Ohtani is arguably the greatest baseball player we’ve seen in this generation. Yesterday in the Angels’ win over the Chicago White Sox, Ohtani struck out ten batters as a pitcher while only allowing one run as a pitcher. Oh yeah, he also hit two home runs in the same night, one of them after leaving the game as a pitcher due to a fingernail issue.
