Yankees starting pitcher Carlos Rodon has struggled since being activated from the 60-day IL, and those labors continued on Wednesday during a loss against the Angels.
Rodon surrendered six runs across 4.1 innings, and while exiting the mound at one point during the game, the lefthander could be seen blowing a kiss to some fans who were apparently heckling him from the stands.

The Yankees were swept by the Angels on Wednesday for the first time since 2009. It’s safe to say morale in the dugout isn’t high for New York, evidenced by reliever Tommy Kahnle’s meltdown following his outing in Los Angeles.

In need of something to release his frustration, Kahnle hurled his glove at the cooling fan located in the corner of the dugout before proceeding to stomp on it with his cleats.

Harper displayed a confusing lack of effort during his at-bat against Milwaukee reliever Hoby Milner, as he struck out looking without ever even appearing as if he was going to swing.
The six-pitch at-bat saw Harper stand almost completely still as the lefthander served him a mixture of sinkers, curveballs, and four-seam fastballs.

Most fans who send team owners letters will not expect to receive any sort of formal response.
However, one Giants season-ticket holder, who recently sent a letter to team co-owner John Mara voicing his displeasure with night games, found a sympathizing voice.
The fan sent the correspondence to the two-time Super Bowl champion owner lamenting about the tema’s schedule of playing three primetime home games in 2023.
Upon receiving the letter, Mara responded with his own letter, per Paul Schwartz of the New York Post.
