Ahead of next week’s Wimbledon tennis tournament, British officials are beefing up security due to an increasing amount of disruptions by environmental activists.
The move comes after protests by fringe groups that have done everything from set themselves on fire during Roger Federer’s tennis matches, to storm live television shows and try to deface Van Gogh paintings.
British authorities are especially concerned about Wimbledon after there were multiple incidents during recent sporting events.

The newly retired J.J. Watt couldn’t stay away from football for long. 
The former Texans and Cardinals defensive end announced Wednesday he’s joining CBS as an NFL analyst this fall, and he did so with some humor. Watt confused his followers at first by posting a video on Twitter and announcing his new job at CVS—the pharmacy. Then six minutes later, he posted a second video where he corrected the typo. 
“Little pro tip for anyone out there starting a new job: don’t screw up the announcement,” Watt said. “It’s not a good way to start your first day on the job.

The Los Angeles Clippers’ trade for Eric Gordon seemed sensible enough when it happened at last season’s February deal deadline. The Clippers were sitting at the No. 5 seed on the day of the trade, and were hoping to make an NBA Finals run with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George mostly healthy for the first time in years.
The Clippers acquired Gordon to provide some three-point shooting, secondary creation, and tough on-ball defense.

The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback last played in the NFL during the 2016 season. It was the same season Kaepernick kicked off national anthem protests across the NFL.
