Video went viral after an Athletics fan began chirping away at Rendon and others after the A’s defeated the Angels 2-1. Most of the Angels players just meandered their way back through the dugout. But Rendon wasn’t having any of it after one fan called him a “bitch.

Glenn “Shemy” Schembechler, the son of legendary Michigan coach Bo Schembechler, resigned from his position as assistant director of football recruiting with the Wolverines last month after his social media revealed Schembechler “liking” racist tweets.
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh spoke with reporters at a football camp at Wayne State University on Thursday and cited an error in the vetting process regarding the hire.

A U.S. women’s soccer team made up of former players took on a Wrexham men’s squad in The Soccer Tournament (TST) and were embarrassed by the score of 12-0.
The Wrexham team was made up of former, current, and guest players. The U.S. side featured many former USWNT players such as Heather O’Reilly and Lori Lindsey. Mia Hamm was on the sideline managing the U.S. team.

Boxer Gervonta Davis was taken into custody Thursday and will serve the remainder of his three-month sentence for a hit-and-run in a Baltimore jail, according to a report from Justin Fenton of The Baltimore Banner.
Davis, who was sentenced May 5 for a 2020 hit-and-run crash that injured four people, was ordered to serve 90 days house arrest at the home of his trainer, Calvin Ford.
