The Boston Celtics had a chance to make NBA history in Sunday night’s Game 7 against the Miami Heat. Instead, they came out flat and never really put up a fight at home and saw their season come to an end with a humiliating 103-84 loss that will sting for quite some time.
Jayson Tatum, who tweaked his ankle in the first minute of the game, finished with just 14 points. The Celtics as a team hit just 9-of-42 three pointers and could never string together enough made shots to really threaten the Heat.
