Travis Swaggerty is an outfielder in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. On Wednesday, he took to Twitter to discuss his wife Peyton’s battle with an “extremely rare, painful blood disease that has completely taken over her body.”

After the Celtics fell into a 3–0 hole against the Heat in the Eastern Conference finals, one that the team nearly dug itself out of, team governor Wyc Grousbeck issued a fiery challenge to the roster ahead of Game 4.
Per a report from Jared Weiss of The Athletic, Grousbeck went into the locker room and told the players they needed to “play with some balls” which left the players and coaching staff stunned.
Celtics veteran Blake Griffin confirmed the report, and told The Athletic that Grousbeck, who is widely respected by the players and coaches alike, was right.

Noah Syndergaard is down bad, real bad. The 30-year-old is pitching on his third team in two years after signing a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers during the offseason but hasn’t looked like his old self since joining the Dodgers.

Tom Brady isn’t a fan of repeating himself, but he did just that when asked about the continued rumors of him coming out of retirement during the offseason. The former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback says he doesn’t plan on playing in the NFL ever again amid several post-playing ventures he’s become involved with since calling it a career.
